The doctoral dissertation of MSc Sergei Senko, entitled Nordic forest solutions as an opportunity to reform the forestry sector in Russia: A case study in the Republic of Karelia will be examined at the Faculty of Science and Forestry on the 22nd of October in the Joensuu campus. The opponent in the public examination will be Professor Birger Solberg, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Norway, and the custos will be Professor Jouni Pykäläinen, 91. The public examination will be held in English.
