What does it take for a person in need of support to study at a university? Is higher education really accessible to everyone? The Inclusive Universities seminar brings together people in the field of education and other interested parties to consider how we could make Finnish universities more accessible to those who need support due to intellectual disabilities or other reasons.
Collaborators from Austria, Ireland and Switzerland come to illuminate their process on building IPSE (Inclusive Post-Secondary Education) programmes, which enable people with intellectual disabilities to study in Universities. Based on the experiences from our international guests - What can we in Finland do to bring our higher education system closer to the ideal of inclusion?
