The content of the course focuses on the European integration process, decision making procedures in the Union institutions and constitutional developments.

The student will

  • become familiar with the main developments of the integration process in the European Union
  • understand the constitutional nature and structure of the European Union
  • understand the institutional framework and the legislative process of the EU and identify some of the main problems and open questions in this respect
  • recognize the institutional framework and the legislative process of the EU

Study methods: The course consists of 10 hours of voluntary lectures and a mandatory electronic exam, which requires approximately 125 hours of independent study. It is to be recommended that the students have taken a course on the foundations of EU law before attending the course.

Ilmoittaudu yksittäisille opintojaksoille 20€ / opintopiste, 20€ /credit. Hinnat ovat voimassa lukuvuoden 2024-2025.

III Ilmoittautumisesi käٳٱaika on äälisesti 2-5 쾱äää, maksimissaan 10 a쾱äää. Käٳٱajan ä saatjärjestelmän lähettämän viestin, joka sisältää linkin opintojen aloitusohjeisiin. Tutustu ohjeisiin huolellisesti. 

Jos sinulla ei ole aiempaa UEF-tunnusta, saat lisäksi yliopiston käyttäjähallinnasta UEF-tunnuksen aktivointiohjeet. Tunnuksesi saa käyttöoikeudet opiskeluoikeuden alkaessa.

Registration guide:

I. Click the button belowto register. You will be directed to our registration service with the study unit already selected; click “In English” at the upper right-hand corner to change the language. If you want to, you can add several study units to your basket before you continue.

II. Proceedin the registration service. You will receive a payment link. After paying, you will receive a confirmation email from Paytrail(payment processor) and a confirmation of your registrationfrom the university.

III. You will receive your starting instructions within 2-5 days (max. 10) of your registration. Please read them carefully. If you do not have a UEF account, you will also get instructions for activating one.
